2000 SPEEDWAY CHAMPIONSHIP |
| After the millenium celebrations and
the proposal of marriage to my girlfriend Sue, it was
time to hold onto my Championship. The first part ot the
season was very similar to the previous season. We were
starting to gain a considerable lead in the championship.
September came and went, me and Sue got married. The
first race after the honeymoon the engine blew up big
time, so we had to sit this race out with no points. With
the Championship slipping away and only two weeks until
the last meeting, I found myself with no money to
re-build the engine, and even less time to run it in.
Thanks to my two brothers Jamie and Steve, they let me
borrow their spare engine. It ran like a bag of nails but
