| It was a very long time coming, my first ever championship win. Sure I have won quite a few races, a few second and third places, but to win the Q.R.A British 250cc Speedway Championship was a dream come true. Also to do it against machines with much larger capacity (350 and 500 cc) was an absolute thrill. There was some very hard racing mixed with some very competative riders made winning my first Championship absolutely brilliant. With the added bonus of finishing the end of the Millenium and to start the next as 250cc Champion. |
